Robeez and kids that need shoes

Many people are caught up in the Christmas season, wondering about how many presents they need to buy, if they will get that new computer they wanted, but alot of families don't have the luxury of doing that. Now would be a great time to think about how you can give back this season.
Our family is struggling along with others during this recession. We both work two shifts and feel lucky that we are able to have this opportunity! We show our gratitude by giving back to the community through Toys for Tots, Salvation Army and donating to charities when we purchase items at the store.
I wanted to let you know of a campaign going on right now through Twittermoms called K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations). K.I.D.S give to children in need by providing new clothes, shoes, etc. donated by leading manufacturers and retailers. Now would be a great time to help a child by buying a pair of shoes from Robeez. For every pair of Robeez Soft Sole purchases, Stride Rite will donate that pair to K.I.D.S (Kids In Distressed Situations) through December 23rd.
Please check out Robeez Season of Giving for more information.

I have to tell you about my favorite pair of Robeez shoes. The Robeez Boots Dog & Bones - espresso/tan/red are sooo adorable! My little Zach would look so cute in them!
So, head on over there and get that special little one in your life a new pair of shoes!

Five tips or tricks to getting your kids to bed

Now that my daughter just turned five, it's actually been harder to get her to go to bed, when I thought it would be easier. I've come up with some ideas how to help her ease into going to bed.

1. Set a routine. This takes practice and I know it can be hard reinforcing them but you need to stick to it.
2. Give them a warm bath. Lavender baby wash seems to help relax little ones.
3. Let kids unwind for 30 minutes. No tv or video games right before they go to sleep.
4. Get ready for bed. Getting PJs on might help them to know it's relaxing time.
5. Read to them. Reading a book can be fun and they might get sleepy in the process.
Now it's your turn!
Twittermoms and Drama U are having a contest!
So what are your tips and tricks to getting your kids to go to bed and stay there? Twittermoms and Dramu U would like to hear about your routine and will reward the first 100 bloggers who share their stories a pink Cozy! If you would like to participate yourself then, go here to read how to enter. Also the St. Eve Kids, Cozys are one size fits most little girls sizes between 6-9.
